Book signing at Chaucer's books

It was a dream come true to not only have my book published but to be in a bookstore signing copies of it! Although probably only about 8 people came and I only sold 4 books, it was still a very special event. One random guy listened to my spoken word performances and was so moved he asked for more! And even though the few people I sold books to were people I knew, my art was still getting out there and that is all I can ask. For years my art has been hidden on my bookshelves and in cabinets. Little by little, I am reaching and connecting with more people through my art. I enjoyed discussing my book, giving away free La Croix and stickers, and also free 4-leaf clovers to everyone who bought a book! Thank to you my friends and community members who came out to support me, it really meant a lot that at least some people came :) And thank you Chaucer's for being such gracious hosts and putting on my event!
